Role Overview
Lynton works with some of the best and brightest organizations looking to support their marketing, website, and technology goals. This role is specifically for an Account Manager looking to grow their current skills in project management and creating relationships at a fast-paced creative agency. As part of Lynton’s Agency Services team, you will be partnered with a Strategist or Solutions Engineer to serve as the face and personality of our company. As an Account Manager, you will form lasting partnerships with our clients and their stakeholders by efficiently organizing and executing projects to help clients meet their goals.

This role is for a real people-person who loves to solve problems for others and who manages (and successfully completes on-time and within budget) projects without losing sight of the tiniest details. A majority of their time will be spent client-facing (communicating with clients via Zoom calls, email, and phone), while the rest will be internal collaboration, implementation in HubSpot, project management, and owning client retention. This candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills when delegating work amongst the team and should be willing to collaborate with cross-functional departments.

If you’re organized, and you have the ability to service clients while maintaining project profitability and rallying a team to execute a strategic plan, this could be the ideal place for you!

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the successful delivery of client engagements, including budget, timeline, and desired outcomes and results.
  • Foster positive business relationships that support multi-year engagements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, taking ownership of the client relationship and overseeing multiple client engagements simultaneously (typically 6-10) for agency retainers and projects.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including the client-facing roadmap (timeline, interdependencies, budget, and approved implementation strategy).
  • Utilize our PM software, ClickUp, and coordinate team resources by assigning key deliverables that meet the needs and milestones of each project.
  • Connect with clients regularly throughout a project to offer five-star support, further understand their needs, and identify threats and opportunities (sending agendas and post-meeting recaps as needed).
  • Collaborate and meet with internal team members to understand what is needed from the client and to accomplish the overall project goal.
  • Meet Lynton’s Account Management standards: tracking key metrics, completing sprint planning, communicating time overages, meeting NPS goals, etc.
  • Work with a Strategist to help advise clients on the most efficient and effective use of the project budget while keeping a close eye on project margin.
  • Work with a Strategist to up-sell and cross-sell where opportunities present themselves and determine the project plan.
  • Support agency implementation as needed, including but not limited to content insertion, creating emails, social posts, pages, workflows, marketing assets, and asset migrations within HubSpot.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Actively contribute to and promote teamwork in a remote working environment.
  • Accurately track time through the company time tracking system.
  • Present a professional image of Lynton to current and potential clients at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, or proven equivalent industry experience
  • Passion for marketing, websites and technology
  • Professional client-facing experience
  • Hands-on HubSpot experience (Marketing required, CMS/Content/Ops/Sales/Service are a bonus)
  • Experience overseeing and managing projects, with a track record of on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Collaborative team mindset and willingness to learn and grow
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • History of working remotely is a plus
